Green Light ( A Response to the Execution of Marcellus "Khaliifah" Williams)

Welcome to my beautiful land of chains and whips
Covered in clear waters and berry bushes on each side
Coated in bloody tears from a mother's eyes
We watch as her baby gets thrown into the fire of lies

There is no time to explain
For the baby's petitions are silenced
Mocked with the hope of redemption
Fighting the temptation to rebel

They may believe in their own innocence
They may believe in their own rights
They may believe in their own justice
They may believe in their own power

But my beautiful land of chains and whips could care less about how turmoil persists
We sentence and steal and rob and kill
We butcher and eat and cheat and beat
We will watch baby after baby get thrown into the fire, and we will still only seek to fulfill our own desire

Convict is the plate that bore the baby's chest
The smile of the baby revealed the civil unrest
"Pose for the camera and give us your best shot!"
Quivering lips disturb the resolution, further leading to the mass confusion

Get ready for the green light as the baby's body is complete!
Another atrocity to check off the bucket list
Cheers to the murder of the innocent
May their souls find rest in God despite the maleficence
